Scanaria vs Realsee
Real estate agents, photographers and tour creators who want a low-cost Matterport alternative with their own camera
What you gain
Four things a scanner owner gets from Scanaria that Realsee does not offer in the same way.
- 01
Use the scanner you already own. Realsee does not take third-party scan data.
- 02
Keep the finished tour as a folder that opens from index.html on any desktop, with no server and nothing calling home. Realsee keeps the tour inside its platform.
- 03
One flat $60 a month for unlimited processing, and hosting only if you want it, in the two larger plans. Realsee: credits, from $120 per 40.
- 04
A phone-first viewer: the whole building under 15 MB, first view in seconds on 4G, Save for offline.
Where Realsee is stronger
- Very low hosting cost per tour and 16K/24K panoramas from the 134MP Galois camera
- Live 3D Call, guided tours, filters and Google Street View publishing from the editor
Realsee's credit system is close to pay-as-you-go and its hosting cost per tour is low. The platform is built around its own Galois cameras and consumer 360 cameras, and there is no documented way to bring in an E57 from a terrestrial scanner. Tours live on Realsee's servers and go inactive without credits; there is no offline tour package. An upload-and-own service differs on input (any scanner's E57) and on the downloadable deliverable.
